Overnight Camp-Ins
Explore all that Liberty Science Center has to offer, from exhibits to IMAX® films, with an exciting overnight visit. Focusing on the theme of Extreme Weather, our special educational program teaches campers how hurricanes affect our environment and society. Take a virtual visit to the Louisiana coastline with the stunning movie Hurricane on the Bayou, learn how some of the world’s tallest buildings can be ripped apart by powerful winds, and much more. You’ll also see a 3D film and visit Connections: The Store.
Camp-Ins are open to any youth group with 30 or more participants, whether they’re all-girl, all-boy, or co-ed. Pre-registration is required. The chaperone-to-child ratio must be at least 1:15. Camp-ins begin at 6:00 pm and end at 9:00 am the next day, but campers are welcome to remain in the building the entire next day (if they can stay awake after such an exciting night)!
As a souvenir, all youth campers will receive a Camp-In patch. This patch entitles the bearer to free admission through September 1, 2008.
