There is no better way to explore Liberty Science Center than under the cover of darkness. With exclusive film showings, engaging activities and the chance to sleep under the exhibits instead of under the stars (no mosquitoes!), a Camp In at Liberty Science Center is a memorable experience!

Adventures include climbing a fossil-studded rock wall, playing hide'n'seek with geckos and snapping turtles in our "mini zoo," getting creative with "digital spray paint," creating models and so much more. With hundreds of exhibits plus Live Science Demonstrations and a movie in the nation's largest IMAX® Dome Theater, it'll be a wonder if you'll even want to sleep!

Camp-ins begin at 6:00 pm and end at 9:00 am; campers with chaperones are welcome to stay the entire following day.

(Well, how about two New York guys that followed In the Footsteps of Marco Polo). It's true; Denis Belliveau and Francis O'Donnell took a wild idea - retrace Marco Polo's entire 25,000-mile, land-and sea route from Venice to China and back - and spent two incredible years of their lives making their dream a reality. Without the assistance of air travel, they made their way on foot, horseback, and camelback, in jeeps, trucks, boats and trains.

Bring your boys only group, camp in at Liberty Science Center and - talk to them about:

How they survived a deadly firefight and befriend a warlord in Afghanistan
How to cross the forbidding Taklamakan Desert in a Silk Road camel caravan,
How they lived among cultures ranging from the expert horsemen of Mongolia to the tattooed tribes of Indonesia.

Who Can Camp In?

We welcome groups with 20 or more campers in 1^st - 8^th grade. We offer boy only, girl only, and co-ed nights. Chaperones may be of either gender at all camp ins. Please note: we require one chaperone for each five children.

Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts

Camp ins include activities to earn Daisy, Brownie, Junior and Cadet Girl Scout badges or Cub Scout pins and belt loops. Learn more.

Cost Per Person $55; Your Overnight Stay Includes:
