RACE: YouTube Video Contest
Special limited-time challenge: What is race to me?
RACE: Are We So Different? is a provocative new exhibition now showing at Liberty Science Center. It explores the science and history of human variation, bringing together new perspectives about the meaning of race and its impact on our lives.
A big part of this exhibition is about getting people to open up and share their ideas about race. That’s where you come in.
We want your voice to be a part of this important dialogue. Enter our video contest, which will run through the duration of the exhibition, and your thoughts about race could be chosen for display on a video screen outside the RACE gallery.
About RACE | Official Rules
Your Challenge
- Shoot a video that communicates what race means to you. It can be anything: an interview with someone you know, a dialogue between you and a friend, something you see in your daily life, a montage of images, or just you talking. As long as it’s about race, we’re interested.
- Make sure that your submission follows all of the official rules. It should be less than three minutes long, must not exceed 50 MB, and must comply with all copyright rules, video requirements and the YouTube terms of service.
- Go to our special YouTube™ channel and upload your video. You’ll find more detailed instructions there, along with videos that have already been submitted.
The contest ends on April 27, so submit your video soon. You're limited to one entry per person. Start a dialogue today, and change the way that people see things tomorrow.
