Backyard Safari | Grades K-2

Become amateur explorers on a backyard safari! Using observation and identification skills, students will take a trip through four interactive nature stations to gain a deeper understanding of the plants and animals we see every day.
Head in the Clouds | Grades 3-5

Are those cirrus, stratus or cumulus clouds? Become a junior meteorologist in this visually stimulating workshop. Experience cloud formation, construct a cloud spotter wheel and create your own weather forecast.
New Jersey Herps | Grades 3-8

Frogs and snakes and turtles -- oh my! Explore New Jersey’s amphibian and reptile biodiversity by observing live animals. Learn about the variety of ecological issues each species must face in the wild.
Stargazers | Grades 1-12

Crawl into Liberty Science Center’s portable planetarium and watch the constellations come alive. Learn basic astronomical concepts while exploring different cultural perceptions of the sky as you hear the folklore of Greek, Native American, African and Chinese mythologies.
