Our Building
Planning for the new Liberty Science Center began with a conceptual paper almost 10 years ago, sketching out a bold future for the region's most popular science museum. The project moved from the idea stage to reality three years ago, and Liberty Science Center closed for renovation after the Labor Day crowds left the building in September 2005.
Two years of construction created a building almost twice the size of our old space, with virtually all-new exhibitions and program experiences. You're in for a real treat at the spectacularly reinvented Liberty Science Center!
